Aloha Youth Football & Cheerleading

Aloha Youth Football and Cheerleading provides a competitive tackle football program for students who reside within the Aloha High School attendance area.  We are a member association of the Tualatin Valley Youth Football League, which serves over 7,000 participants in the Portland area.  Our cheerleading squads support the football teams with their cheers at every game.

Looking for Great Coaches!

Are you interested in becoming a Head Coach for the 2012 season?  We are always looking for great coaches!  Anyone who is interested in coaching for teh 2012 season need to send Randy Moya, our Director of Football an e-mail at moyafamily@frontier.com with the age group you are interested in.

• We are beginning plans for the 2012 season.  Head Coaching interviews are now being scheduled for February.  If you are interested in Head Coaching, please contact Randy to schedule an interview.
  
  
• The interview is mandatory.  Every coaching staff is required to have 2 coaches with a Basic First Aid Card.  You can take the online course here for a small fee to complete the Basic First Aid class.  Print out the card and turn it in to Kathi Costa.  Every Head Coach must take the Concussion Training mandated by TVYFL.
  
  
• All coaching positions within Aloha Youth Football are volunteer-based.  It will require a large commitment of time and effort, however, the reward and experience of coaching is well worth it.  If you have any questions please contact Gary Dodson or Randy Moya.

Interested in becoming a Board Member?

The Board of Directors has two positions that need to be filled.  The Vice President position, which is primarily responsible for fundraising.  With the increase we have to pay with insurance cost, field use and equipment replacement rising, this is a position that will help us greatly, remember our objective is to keep costs down and keep fees where they are at.  The Concession Manager position is also open.  I can't say enough on how important this position is.  The concession stand brings in a great deal of money for the program and it takes a special and energetic person to be there each and every week.  We are known to have the best concession stand in the league and we are complimented on it regularly.

What a tremendous accomplishment for our football program, the high school, and the Aloha community to win the 6A State Championship this past season.  There are many parts to winning a high school football championship and one of the biggest is the Youth Program that feeds into the high school.  We need to continue this strong relationship between the high school and the Youth Program again this year.  We must all strive to improve this season through great effort, determination, and team work.  We look forward to working with you to reach excellence, which is achieving at our highest level.  As you participate have fun and always remember T.A.P.E.  Thanks also to all cheerleaders and cheer coaches for your energy, enthusiasm, and support.
