Aloha Youth Football & Cheerleading

Aloha Youth Football and Cheerleading provides a competitive tackle football program for students who reside within the Aloha High School attendance area.  We are a member association of the Tualatin Valley Youth Football League, which serves over 7,000 participants in the Portland area.  Our cheerleading squads support the football teams with their cheers at every game.

We have now posted the Medical Release Form on the Registration Page so you can go there to down load it and fill it out.  Remember, it is required to be filled out and turned in prior to getting your uniforms and equipment!

2012 Jamboree!!!

Can you believe it is time to start planning the 2012 Football Jamboree?
You are invited to attend a meeting to be a part of a hardworking group of volunteers that will come together to make the Jamboree a success again this year.  The overall layout has been done and it is time to start making teams and putting everything into reality.  The meeting is on Sunday 6/3 to avoid interfering with sports schedules.  If you are interested in being part of the team or you know someone who would be interested please feel free to bring them along.

Warrior Workouts

Lineman and Skilled position sessions with coach Plaskers and coach Mc Swain from our Aloha Warrior high school football coaching staff, are now being planned and scheduled.  Up and coming 5th - 8th graders are invited to attend these "pay as you go" sessions located at AHS football field, each session cost $15 paid direct to session coaches.  You'll participate for 2 hrs learning, reviewing, drilling and sharpening your skills for the up and coming season, all while having fun.  Some of you participated last season and results were shown on the field...  you gained the edge as to what it takes to be a disciplined football player.  Gaining strength and confidence, while developing physical readiness for youth football.
The coaches will help you learn proper footwork, technique, injury prevention, we are fortunate to have 2 or more coaches of this caliber teaching fundamentals to our young football players.  Don't miss out, all sessions will be held on Sundays from 4-6.

Dates:  April 29th, May 6th, May 20th, May 27th, and June 2nd.

Location : Aloha High Football field

Time: 4:00pm - 6:00pm on Sundays

Congratulations Coach Volk!

(From Coach Casey)  Congratulations to Coach Bill Volk who has accepted the Head high school Varsity football coaching position effective at the end of the 2012 football season!

Aloha HS Principal Ken Yarnell, Athletic Director Jason Fillinger-Potay, and Current Head Coach Chris Casey are very excited and pleased to have Coach Volk as the next Varsity Head Football Coach.

Coach Volk has assumed the title of Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator for the 2012 season.

There will be a community gathering for Coach Volk Tuesday, May 1st at 7:00PM in the Aloha High School Commons.

Please attend if you can to congratulate Coach Volk!
