Hello Warrior Families,
It is hard to believe the season is behind us and we have to think about things other than football. However, it won't be long and we will be gearing up for the 2012 season.
We still have a few things to clear up before we can close out this year. For those families that have not turned in their uniforms and equipment, please get with your head coach or team mom and get those items turned in as soon as possible, please before Xmas!! I need items back for inventory count and especially the helmets and shoulder pads since they have to be sent in to be refurbished and certified for play next season.
I know we still have monies coming in that parents have made arrangements to pay, as well as money still coming from THPRD. So please get with Kathi Costa and let her know where things are at. If we don't hear back from folks before the end of the year, invoices will go out in January. Please contact us and we will work with you as much as possible.
The Board of Directors has two positions that need to be filled. The Vice President position which is primarily, responsible for fundraising. I will say I am a little concern with some of the increase we have to pay with insurance cost, field use and equipment replacement rising. So this is a position that will help us greatly, remember our objective is to keep costs down and keep fees where they are at.
The Concession Manager position is also open. I can't say enough on how important this position is. The concession stand brings in a great deal of money for the program and it takes a special and energetic person to be there each and every week. We are known to have the best concession stand in the league and we are complimented on it regularly. For more information please see Nanci Villanueva.
We have two new board members, Brad Harvey, who is the new equipment manager and Kiffin Markos, who will be our new registrar. This is a position that Kathi Costa has held, but she is downsizing and will now only be our treasurer. Welcome aboard Brad and Kiffin!
We will be saying good bye to Nanci Villanueva and family, as well as Matt Cosby. Both of these individuals have been amazing and they will be missed. Nanci, Ben and family have done a superb job in the concession stand and Matt thanks for always having equipment ready each year. Thank you guys, you are the best!!!!!!!!!!
